Toronto, Summer 2020

While we didn't expect to be in Toronto this summer, here is where we found ourselves. Since we were still in travel/adventure mode post Thailand withdrawal, we decided to take this opportunity to explore our own backyard - and what a beautiful backyard it is.

We found the 1000km Great Waterfront Trail map online, got on our bikes, and started to ride. No, we didn't do it all this summer (we saved some for the next few years), but thoroughly enjoyed the parts we did cover. We also explored on foot and in the water.
While we maintained social distancing, stayed in a relatively small bubble, and wore masks as appropriate, this video is our ode to a weird yet wonderful Summer 2020. In the wise words of author Claire Cook, "If plan A doesn't work, the alphabet has 25 more letters - 204 if you are in Japan."
